It awed me with its views \u2014 and unlocked striking memories, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/golf.com\/travel\/favorite-courses-2024-rawls-course\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">I\u2019ve played this course countless times \u2014 and it keeps getting better, by Zephyr Melton<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve been playing the Rawls Course since I was in high school \u2014 and every time I return home it seems to get better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/golf.com\/travel\/favorite-courses-2024-whats-important\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">My favorite courses of 2024? They reminded me what&#8217;s important, by Josh Berhow<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2024, I learned how to appreciate certain golf courses more than others, and it&#8217;s a formula I&#8217;m going to stick with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/golf.com\/travel\/where-i-played-goat-hill-park\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">This cult-classic golf course ripped my heart out \u2014&nbsp;but I still loved it, by Jack Hirsh<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Jack Hirsh has crossed off some bucket list courses, but his favorite rounds of the year may have come at a $40 California muni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/golf.com\/news\/favorite-course-trump-turnberry-ailsa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">This Scottish stunner was my favorite course I played this year, by Sean Zak<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I played Trump Turnberry on a summer&#8217;s evening, the sky went pink, the wind settled and the course became a work of art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/golf.com\/travel\/why-this-lava-covered-course-in-hawaii-was-my-favorite-in-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Why this lava-covered course in Hawaii was my favorite in 2024, by Connor Federico<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hualalai Golf Course is placed in a setting unlike any in the world. This gem&#8217;s routing takes advantage of its pristine natural surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/golf.com\/travel\/stonecreek-gc-summer-deal-favorite-course-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Why this daily-fee course with a smokin&#8217; summer deal is my favorite course of the year, by Jessica Marksbury<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An incredible summer deal made Stonecreek GC \u2014 a Phoenix, Ariz. daily-fee course \u2014 my favorite of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block wp-block--custom-html\">\n<iframe
